The Book of Image and Sound is a multimedia work for speaking guitarist and video. The original video element (unfortunately now lost) was an animation of the work's "illuminated score" (pictured) featuring my own acrylic paintings integrated with handwritten notation and an original poetic text. I premiered a three-movement version of the piece in spring of 2010 at the Lamont School of Music, and later expanded it to four movements.
